Announcements: Dr Choudhry Mohammed Walayat Remains Critically Ill in Hospital Sheffield Following Major Stroke

Dr Choudhry Walayat MBE, who suffered a major stroke in May 2011, remains hospitalised and critically ill at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield, UK.

Following several months of stability, with plans for home care to commence during Late October, Choudhry took a turn for the worse on October 30th, following which his situation is being re-evaluated on a daily basis, during this period he has had his three children Nadeem, Kashaf, Ambreen in around the clock 24 hour attendance at his bed side. With Indleeb visiting when time permits.

With equal support from his two daughters in Law, Shahla and Rafieda with further support from other family members.

Family members, friends and the community continue to pray for his recovery.

Dr Choudhry Walayat has lived a highly interesting life that has taken him from a poor village in Kashmir reading by candle light to being honoured with an MBE by the Queen, as detailed in his book that you can either read online or purchase a hard copy (WHSmiths, BLACKWELL,Amazon).
